LT cable fault locator is a combination of Surge generator, Model SurGen 6(1000), Reflectometer T-610 and Digipoint which are used for fault location in LT cables.

SurGen 6(1000)

• Surge generator with Inbuilt DC high voltage tester for pressure testing(Hipot) of cables up to 6 kV.
• Inbuilt burning facility of more than 300 mA for high resistive faults.
• Thumping(Surge) up to 6 kV with 1000 Joules energy.

Reflectometer

• Pulse Echo, Impulse current & Decay method provided to get the distance to almost all types of faults.
• 10” Colour LCD display with user friendly interface for easy operation.
• Online support of experts to review fault graphs.
• Comparison feature of any 5 graphs for review and analysis to get more accurate results.
• Velocity of propogation (VOP) control makes it easy to precisely pre-locate faults in cables with different velocity.
• Automatic storage of more than 10,000 fault graphs.

Digipoint

• Easy, fast and accurate pinpointing the exact location of the fault.
• A special coincidence feature which gives the distance to the fault in milliseconds.
• Magnetic and acoustic reading displayed on LCD.
